ANPR Surveyor / Construction Project Manager

GPS are looking for an experienced Surveyor / Project Manager with a ‘can do’ attitude to work on the ANPR workstream. In this role you will be office based in Huddersfield and will be required to travel to construction and hotel and retail sites throughout the UK up to 60% of the time and will require your own car, insured for business use. Good knowledge of the construction industry such as health & safety and CDM regulations is essential.

The role is full time (37.5 hours per week), office based with regular travel throughout the UK. We also offer flexibility, dependent on the role.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced surveyor / Project Manager to join the team. The focus will be on our ANPR survey programme. We visit sites across the country to survey them for ANPR camera installation. This involves identifying appropriate power sources, mapping cable routes on plans and looking for optimum camera locations. Training is provided. ANPR/CCTV and/or electrical knowledge is essential.
This role requires management of the survey process from start to finish, the planning, survey, and writing up of the survey.
It requires communication across all levels of management, to develop and establish a brief for the project that clearly defines all objectives.
It is expected of this role to maintain records and work folders – ensuring all work is checked and appropriately approved for distribution.

Job Requirements

Experience in a similar role.
ANPR/CCTV/Electrical experience.
Educated to degree/HNC/HND or equivalent in relevant subject.
Full driving license and own car with ability to travel within the UK.
CSCS card – Black/gold/white.
Excellent IT skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent time management skills.
Pro-active and self-motivated.
